All School News

Attention girls currently in grades 8-11th – There will be an informational volleyball meeting on Wednesday May 23rd at 5:30 pm in the high school gym.

Attention students please remember to dress appropriately for school- no spaghetti straps, shorts and skirts must extend to the fingertips of student with arms at their side. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Spaude in the office.

This is a reminder that today is Grandmother’s Tea and no parking is allowed by the gym parking lot. Please remember to find a parking spot below the school. Also, students are not allowed to park in the staff parking lot by the shop area.


Middle School News

6th & 7th grade students- If you are interested in becoming an ASB officer for the 2012-2013 school year please pick up an application packet in the office today. Completed packets are due by May 17th at 11:30am. Good luck and remember this is your guaranteed entry into the leadership class.


High School News

The Kalama Lions Club is giving two $500.00 scholarships this year. The application deadline is May 25th, please see Mr. Gunn for more information.

Seniors interested in a summer job with Public Works Dept should pick up the application in your Economics class. (Application due May 11).

Have you purchased a yearbook?? The supply is going and once they are gone…they are gone! We are down to approximately 75 books left. Get yours before they are GONE!

Seniors: Our local VFW post has submitted their scholarship. Be sure to check it out — it’s posted in your Econ class.

A representative from Perry Technical Institute for Yakima will be here on Tuesday during 3rd period in the library. There will be a sign up sheet in the office for those interested.
