All School News

If you are planning to participate in high school sponsored summer sports please come to the office to sign up. Remember to pick up a sports packet. Also, high school football summer calendars are in the office.

Reminder to all athletes planning to participate in sports next year: Please come to the office to see Mrs. Spaude and check on your physical’s expiration date.

End of the year reminder –all books that have been checked out need to be returned to the library or fines will be issued and report cards will not be sent home.

Attention everyone- Our last day of school is Wednesday June 20th, please note that on this day school will start at 8:30am and end at 11:30am.

Students are not allowed to ride the elevator for any reason unless they have permission from the office.

We will be offering summer school opportunities beginning in July —HS students, this is a great opportunity to recover any missing credits! MS students can review and prepare for next year’s classes. Please sign-up in the office.

There will be no charges in the cafeteria for breakfast, nutrition break or lunch.

 

Middle School News

The middle school yearbooks have arrived and they are only $15.00. Get yours before they are all sold out!

Any middle school students in 7th grade that have not turned in their field trip permission slips will not be able to attend their field trips and instead will be spending the day in ISS.

Middle school athletes in grades 6th, 7th & 8th please remember to return your cleaned uniforms or you will not be able to participate in any sports next year until you have been cleared by Mrs. Spaude.

 

High School News

There will be a yearend FBLA meeting on Friday, June 15th at lunch, 12:45 in the Library. We will be electing officers.

Freshman and Sophomores: You must completed your advisory check-out before Wednesday to be able to attend the yearbook signing party. We have the library and Mrs. Schmit’s room available until 4:00pm everyday for you to complete any missing advisory assignments.

Have you participated in a fall, winter or spring sport and forgot to return or pay for your missing uniforms/equipment?? If so please come to the office to see Mrs. Spaude. Seniors must have their cleaned uniforms/equipment turned in or they will not be able to walk during graduation. Athletes in grades 9-11 will not be able to participate in any sports next year until they have been cleared by Mrs. Spaude.

Seniors! Still need money for college….Here’s a new scholarship that just arrived: Vancouver Farmers Market for $5000. Applications due 6/30/2012 – please contact the following website: (http://vancouverfarmersmarket.com/scholarship.php)

All students planning to take AP World History or AP US History next year need to come to Mr. Maynard’s room today or tomorrow during lunch for required information.

Attention ALL Seniors – If you are receiving any scholarships or awards for post-secondary studies (this includes the G.I. Bill for military enlistees), you are obligated to report that to the school on the purple form that was given out several weeks ago. That purple scholarship report form is due to Mr. Gunn or Mrs. Delker by 3:00 on Friday afternoon.

If you do not have any scholarships or awards as of now, you are not required to complete this form; however, anyone who has received or will receive soon a notification about a scholarship or award, must return that form to Mr. Gunn or Mrs. Delker by today at 3:00. Thank you.”
