All School News

The senior parking lot will be closed today from 8:30am to 3:00pm for paving. If you are parked there today please note that you will not be able to move you vehicle until 3:00pm. Thanks for your cooperation!

Attentions students if you are paying for anything in the office please remember to have the correct amount.

 

Middle School News

Wrist bands are back! Earn your High-5 and wristband by being respectful, responsible and courteous. Teachers nominate you for your positive behavior over a long period of time. It’s not a one-time random act. Our goal is to make the world a better place.

Warning! Zombie Apocalypse approaching! You can prepare by attending the Zombie Apocalypse dance on October 19th. Entry price is $5.00 or $4.00 with an ASB card.

 

High School News

This year we are hosting the PSAT on Wednesday, October 17. The fee to take the PSAT this year is $14.00. Students need to sign up and pay for the test in the office no later than Friday, Oct 12. The test will begin at 8:30am (This is a late start day so arrange for transportation).

Ladies do you need a dress for an upcoming formal? Longview’s Angels Closet has a free formal dress giveaway each month. Look for dates and locations on the posters around school or see Mrs. Delker.

Homecoming News: If you are bringing a guest to Homecoming please remember to get a Guest Permission Form from the office, they are due back to Mrs. Spaude by October 10. Do you want to win free tickets to Homecoming? Get your “Ask Her” video into the Leadership Class by Wednesday at 6th period for your chance to win free tickets for Homecoming.

There will be a Jostens meeting for juniors and seniors on October 8th, the seniors will be meeting in the auditorium at 11:35am (4th Period). Juniors will meet at 1:05 (5th Period).

We have a Blood Drive this Friday! If you haven’t gotten your permission slip signed, please do so before Friday. If you are 18, no permission slip is needed, just come in and sign up.

LCC is hosting a Fall Information Night on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 6:30-7:30 in the student center. This event is geared toward high school juniors and seniors and their parents. Discussion topics include: getting started at LCC, programs and degrees offered, Tech Prep, Running Start, as well as Financial Aid and scholarships.

Attention FBLA members- We will have a FBLA meeting next Tuesday in the library at lunch. Please plan to attend since we will be signing up for our Fall Conference. Also, make sure to pay your $25.00 dues to the office before this meeting.

Running Start

Please remember to read the entire bulletin so that you may stay updated with school news.

Any Running Start students participating in sports or any school sponsored activities are required to purchase an ASB card, complete the Activities Handbook & Running Start form in the office. Please see Mrs. Spaude if you have any questions.

Staff News

Do not send students to the office unless they have a pass and please remember to give them your printer code.

Do you have any empty two liter bottles? Mrs. Doerty is collecting bottles for a class project and would appreciate your help. There is a labeled box in the staff room for empty bottles if you would like to help out.

Friday we will have the Puget Sound Blood Mobile in the staff parking lot. If you could please park in the gym lot it would be appreciated. Thank you!
