KALAMA SCHOOLS CLOSED 2/10/14

Kalama Schools Closed Monday, February 10, 2014.  All After School Activities and Events are Cancelled.

KALAMA SCHOOLS CLOSED

Due to the weather forecast, all Kalama schools including the district office will be closed Friday, February 7, 2014.  All after school programs and events are cancelled.

Thursday, February 6. 2014:    We are aware some area schools are closing, however in the interest of student safety we are going to stay on regular hours today. I resist sending children home where there may be no adult present and possibly they are locked out. Parents are familiar with our position for the past 17 years that we stay open regular hours so that they know where their child is and they are safe. Parents/guardians are welcome to pick up your child if you are concerned about the weather. The City will be de-icing roads prior to buses exiting our campus today. Buses will be chained up and drivers are experienced and skilled in these conditions. However, all district after school and evening activities are cancelled.

All buses will be on snow routes.
