<p>There will be a volleyball meeting on May 20th at 3:05pm for anybody grades 8-11 interested in playing high school volleyball next season. The meeting will be held in Ms. Rademacher’s room in the portables next to the gym.</p>
<p>Attention to students in the classes of 2015 and 2016 – we are holding an informational meeting about our trip to Washington D.C. on May 22nd, at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium. If you are interested in taking part in an amazing trip, please bring your parents and get more information about what you need to do to get involved.</p>
<p>Are you planning to play sports next year and need a physical??? On Wednesday, May 22<sup>nd </sup>nursing students from WSU will be giving physicals at La Center high from 2:30-8:00pm for only $20.00. For more information please come to the office to pick up a flyer or call (360) 546-9752.</p>
<p>Spring football will start on May 28<sup>th</sup> thru June 8<sup>th</sup>. Four team scrimmage practices will be held Monday thru Friday from 3:30-5:30pm and on Saturday June 8<sup>th</sup> from 10:00-12:00pm. All players must be cleared by Mrs. Spaude to be able to participate. Please come to the office to pick up a Spring schedule.</p>
<p>Students &#8212;Need a job??? A local resident on LaVerne Drive is looking for someone to complete odd jobs, such as weeding, moving materials, etc. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Delker for details.</p>

<p>The middle school ASB election packets are due today. Election week will be the 20<sup>th</sup> through the 23<sup>rd</sup>. Speeches will be read at 9:35am on May 23rd and voting will be held the same day during 4<sup>th</sup> period. Please remember that your need to have 3.0 GPA or higher to run for ASB office.</p>

<p>Do you need community service hours? Our local Fire District is hosting Kress Lake Safety Day this Saturday from 10:00-2:00pm. If you are interested in helping please contact Jim Walton at 957-0870.</p>

<p>Teachers: Please keep your TA’s in your room since they tend to wander to the office or the hallways. It seems that it is always the same group of kids &#8211; 3<sup>rd</sup> and 6<sup>th</sup> period are the worst. Thanks for your cooperation with this matter.</p>

<p>Teachers: Please keep your TA’s in your room since they tend to wander to the office or the hallways. It seems that it is always the same group of kids &#8211; 3<sup>rd</sup> and 6<sup>th</sup> period are the worst. Thanks for your cooperation with this matter.</p>

<p>There will be a volleyball meeting on May 20th at 3:05pm for anybody grades 8-11 interested in playing high school volleyball next season. The meeting will be held in Ms. Rademacher’s room in the portables next to the gym.</p>
<p>Attention to students in the classes of 2015 and 2016 – we are holding an informational meeting about our trip to Washington D.C. on May 22nd, at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium. If you are interested in taking part in an amazing trip, please bring your parents and get more information about what you need to do to get involved.</p>
<p>Are you planning to play sports next year and need a physical??? On Wednesday, May 22<sup>nd </sup>nursing students from WSU will be giving physicals at La Center high from 2:30-8:00pm for only $20.00. For more information please come to the office to pick up a flyer or call (360) 546-9752.</p>
<p>All girls in grades 8-11 interested in playing basketball- There will be an informational meeting in Shipley&#8217;s room at 11:45am for middle school and 12:45pm for high school on Wednesday.</p>
<p>Attention girls in grades 8 thru 11 who are interested in playing soccer for Kalama next year: There will be a meeting in Maestra’s room on Tuesday at 12:35pm to discuss our upcoming soccer training.</p>
<p>The t-shirt order for Seussical shirts is going in today. If you would like to purchase a t-shirt please see Mrs. Bickmore. And everyone who was in Seussical needs to return their scripts. They need to be mailed this week to avoid late charges. Please get your script back to Mrs. Bickmore by Wednesday.</p>
<p>Attention ALL FBLA members there will be a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14, in Mrs. Schmit’s room at 12:45 to elect new officers, create a thank you picture for our flash drives and talk about fund raising for next year.</p>
<p>Spring football will start on May 28<sup>th</sup> thru June 8<sup>th</sup>. Four team scrimmage practices will be held Monday thru Friday from 3:30-5:30pm and on Saturday June 8<sup>th</sup> from 10:00-12:00pm. All players must be cleared by Mrs. Spaude to be able to participate. Please come to the office to pick up a Spring schedule.</p>

<p>The middle school ASB election packets will be available today and due back by the 17<sup>th</sup>. Election week will be the 20<sup>th</sup> through the 23<sup>rd</sup>. Speeches will be read at 9:35am on May 23rd and voting will be held the same day during 4<sup>th</sup> period. Please remember that your need to have 3.0 GPA or higher to run for ASB office.</p>

<p>Do you need community service hours? Our local Fire District is hosting Kress Lake Safety Day on Saturday, 5/18 from 10:00-2:00pm. If you are interested in helping please contact Jim Walker at 676-4016.</p>
<p>Attention seniors! Want to speak at graduation? Tryouts for student representative will be held today in McCabe’s room at lunch.</p>
<p>Attention students- Any students that plan on taking the any AP Tests need to pay for them in the office ASAP to reserve their spot. Students that have not paid will not be able to take the tests this month.</p>
<p>The deadline for the VFW Scholarship has been moved to May 15. Please see Mrs. Delker or Mrs. Dye for more information</p>

<p>All boys in grades 9-11 planning to participate in high school basketball next year need to come to the summer basketball meeting on Thursday May 9<sup>th</sup> in the lower gym at 12:45pm.&#160; You’ll receive the summer schedule and information about our team camp. – Mr. Stemkoski</p>
<p>There will be a volleyball meeting on May 20th at 3:05pm for anybody grades 8-11 interested in playing high school volleyball next season. The meeting will be held in Ms. Rademacher’s room in the portables next to the gym.</p>

<p>Attention to students in the classes of 2015 and 2016 – we are holding an informational meeting about our trip to Washington D.C. on May 22nd, at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium. <p>The middle school ASB election packets will be available on May 13<sup>th</sup> and due back by the 17<sup>th</sup>. Election week will be the 20<sup>th</sup> through the 23<sup>rd</sup>. Speeches will be read at 9:35am on May 23rd and voting will be held the same day during 4<sup>th</sup> period. Please remember that your need to have 3.0 GPA or higher to run for ASB office.</p>

<p>Teachers: Please keep your TA’s in your room since they tend to wander to the office or the hallways. It seems that it is always the same group of kids &#8211; 3<sup>rd</sup> and 6<sup>th</sup> period are the worst. Thanks for your cooperation with this matter.</p>

<p>Join us tonight for the last showing of “Seussical The Musical” We are having a special family night performance on today at 6:00pm tonight. A special family/group ticket will be $11.00 for up to six members or $6.00 for Adults, $5.00 for students/seniors and Children are $3.00. </p>
